Baby is now half a year old! Where has the time gone? She's turning into such a little person. She still LOVES Mika. Mika now feels rather indifferent about the baby. She prefers to stay out of reach. Mika does still attempt to stop baby from crying. It's pretty cute. She'll sit next to her or lick her to help her feel better.
Baby doesn't really have any new skills from last month. She sits for 10-15 minutes at a time. She likes peas and carrots but not squash or pears. She loves when we talk in super scary voices. It's getting easier to make her laugh. She likes when we sing "I like to move it move it" from Madagascar and bounce her around. Looking back, this same thing also made her laugh while we were in MN but we forgot about it for a few months and have now re-discovered it and she still thinks it's hilarious.
She HATES going to sleep at night. She goes to sleep for naps no problemo, but boy oh boy does she scream at bedtime! And she has a LOUD voice.
She loves books. She loves to look at them, read them, eat them... I'm surprised at how long she will sit and listen to a book. She sat through and looked at the whole book of one fish two fish.
She's a wonderful baby. Happy and healthy, silly and serious. We love her a lot and are so thankful for every day we get to spend with her.
